Help your children get active and stay active!  

 

By making just a few small adjustments in your children’s life, you can help reduce the amount of time they spend in front of the TV or computer and increase the amount of time they are physically active! 

Adding physical activity to your family's daily routine can be fun - it doesn’t have to be hard or feel like a chore.  

 Here are 5 tips to help your children get active today:

1.  Go for a bike ride on the weekends or after dinner with the whole family.
2.  Walk to the store with your children the next time you need to pick something up instead of driving.
3.  Play games like tag and hide-and-seek inside or outside.
4.  Register your child in a summer sport.
5.  Put on music and have a dance-a-thon in the living room.
