Let’s protect where we live, work and play

We’re all concerned about the connection between toxic substances and the risk of illness for our families.

Toxic substances are part of our everyday life but some substances may threaten our health, the health of our families and our environment, unless we all do our part to manage their use and reduce the risks.

We all want to protect our families from contact with substances that are known to cause cancer or believed to cause cancer. It is important that we all take the steps to be aware of toxic substances in our environment, and do our part to make sure we are using the safest products possible in our homes.

Outside our homes, as community members, workers and consumers, we have the right to know about the environmental and occupational risks that they are being exposed to and make informed decisions that may affect our health and the environment that we live in.

Together, we can all play a role in ensuring we protect our families’ health where we live, work and play!
