Q. How do I update my profile or change my e-mail address?
A.

Q. Do you sell your e-mail lists?
A.
Please refer to the Canadian Cancer Society privacy policy.

Q. How do I subscribe to / unsubscribe from the Parents for  Health newletters?
A. To subscribe to Parents for Health, go to your member profile page  and select the appropriate section and update.
To unsubscribe from the Parents for Health newsletter, unclick the  newsletter boxes on your member page.

Q. The forum seems slow.
A. When some of the threads on the forums become very long, they take  longer to load into your browser. Those users on dial-up connections  may find that some of the longer threads take quite awhile to load,  due to the sheer volume of data being transferred.

Q. My forum postings aren't showing up.
A. Occasionally, our servers are slow to "refresh", which means that your  postings take time to show up on the boards. Please check back later  to see if they have appeared.

This might also be a problem caused by the "cache" on whichever  internet browser you are using. All you need to do is empty your cache  and your browser can reload pages in the state you viewed them  previously.

To empty your browser cache (PC):

On Microsoft Internet Explorer, go to "Tools", then "Internet Options".  Click "Delete Files" under "Temporary Internet Files" and click "OK".

On Netscape Navigator, go to "Edit", then "Preferences". Under  "Advanced" in the left hand column, click "Cache" and then click "Clear  Disk Cache" and "Clear Memory Cache".

On Mozilla Firefox, go to "Tools" then "Options". Under "Privacy" in the  left-hand column, then click on "Clear" under Cache. Alternatively,  press Control-F5 to delete the cache of a page.

On Opera, go to "File", then "Preferences", then "History and Cache" in  the left-hand column. Next to "Disk Cache", click "Empty Now".

To empty your browser cache (Mac):

On Microsoft Internet Explorer, go to "Edit", then "Preferences". Under  "Web Browser" in the left-hand column, click "Advanced". Under  "Cache" on the right-hand side, click "Empty Now". Click OK.

On Netscape Navigator, go to "Edit", then "Preferences". Under  "Advanced" in the left-hand column, click "Cache" and then click "Clear  Disk Cache Now"'.

On Mozilla Firefox, go to "Tools" then "Options". Under "Privacy" in the  left-hand column, then click on "Clear" under Cache.

On Opera, go to "File", then "Preferences", then "History and Cache" in  the left-hand column. Next to "Disk Cache", click "Empty Now".

Then try refreshing your page.
