At home

  1. Make a plan to talk with your child about smoking now.
  2. If you are a smoker, connect with Smokers' Helpline online or via phone at 1 (877) 513-5333
  3. If there is a smoker in your home, help them quit smoking with the One-Step-At-A-Time guide.
  4. Make your home and vehicle smoke-free spaces. It is now illegal to smoke in vehicles with children under the age of 16 in Ontario.

In your community

  1. Speak out about cheap, illegal cigarettes by contacting your elected representative and asking them to pass laws that fight contraband. Join the Society in its efforts by telling government about your concerns.
